Knowing words is not the same as understanding a text. Reading and Listening practice gives you real stories and texts written for your level, so you train understanding the overall meaning.
You can switch between reading and listening, which helps when a spoken passage is too fast or when you want to hear how a written text sounds. Comprehension questions at the end check what you understood.
Regular practice here builds the confidence to follow real conversations, articles and videos.
